There are 2 plans for Worldmed medical insurance, one is called Plan A and the other Plan B. The above premium calculation is based on Plan A cover. For Plan B, the premium will be higher and the policy cover will also double. The cover for both the plans includes lost baggage, cancellation of trip, death due to an accident etc.
Visitors, who are traveling for leisure trip can take additional medical cover for dangerous sports incidents such as motorbike accidents, mountain climbing, parasailing, sky diving, bungee jumping, aircraft piloting, surfing etc.
Worldmet medical insurance policy does not cover previously diagnosed illness for a traveler who was suffering from illness before taking the policy. This applies for both US citizens and non US citizens.
