College is a time when young people are discovering who they are and who they want to be. During an economy crisis, it’s easy for someone that is just getting out on their own to let their lack of finances define them. As a parent, you can help your college student to have the style that they want so that they can feel comfortable and confident, without spending a ton of money. Teaching your college student to be a frugal fashionista can prepare them for money saving in the future. Here are 3 techniques to get started:
Shop second hand stores first. Any frugal fashionista knows that young people can find lots of hip clothes at second hand stores for a lot less than regular department store. Shopping at a second hand store is an opportunity for young people to buy for cheap while getting the brands and styles that they want.
Introduce college students to the consignment shops where they can trade their gently used clothing for credit or cash that they can use toward other stuff. It’s one of the best forms of “recycling” and it’s a fantastic way to keep their wardrobe fresh without breaking their budget or yours.
Tell them to check out websites like Ebay, Craigslist, and Freecycle where they can buy for cheap or get clothes completely free! On Craigslist and Freecycle, people will offer their clothing in lots for free. All that your college student has to do is arrange a pick up for the items that are listed. Express to them the importance of staying safe by always retrieving their free finds with at least 2 other friends. Never go alone.
Using an auction site like Ebay can also net your frugal fashionista a great buy on some of the high end stuff. At up to 90% off of the retail price, using Ebay is a definite “have to do” for a budding frugal fashionista.
Leave off the high priced boutiques and make the low-price retailers your favorite shopping spots! Your frugal fashionista will be able to get all of the top brands and mall-store clothes right at the local discount retail shops like Ross, TJ MAXX, and Marshalls. At these bargain “boutiques”, college students can expect to save as much as 75% off of the regular prices!
Being a frugal fashionista does call for some compromising. Buying items second hand or at the discount retailers may require her to do a little fixing or there may be some tiny flaws, however, the savings will justify buying it. It’s best to buy for cheap and get fantastic styles and deals than to spend every dime that you have trying to be super chic. Another small piece of advice for frugal fashionistas, do your best not to buy clothes that require dry cleaning. In the long run, they could cost you more than you saved!

Once young people make the transition to college, they want to be able to get around so that they can explore and enjoy their new found freedom. During an economy crisis, parents may be weary and concerned about how they can help their college student with their transportation needs without it costing the family an exorbitant amount of money. Here are three great and cheap ways that everyone can get what they want…students can get around and parents can keep some of their hard earned cash in their wallets:
Public transportation is a great money saving alternative during an economy crisis. Many public transportation systems offer student discounted passes and deeply discounted multi-use monthly passes that allow for continuous travel for one set price. These passes offer students an opportunity to buy for cheap and yet could help to meet their transportation needs. This is especially useful if they have a job off-campus that requires them to travel frequently. They could really save a lot of money by taking advantage of these discounted passes.
Take advantage of the “school bus”. Free transportation is a staple at most colleges and universities. IT is included in your college student’s university expenses. Your frugal fashionista college student will be able to work the college transport system while saving money for you and your family. For parents, there is a certain amount of peace that comes along with knowing that your college student can get a safe ride to and from the places they go. More than just saving, cost cutting, or pinching pennies, knowing that your child can get around safely is priceless!
Encourage your frugal student to create a carpool or ride share program at their school. It’s fairly easy to set up and would allow for everyone involved to save money and still do their local travel around town. These types of ride share programs work great for students that don’t have any other transportation access and for students that work at common places like malls or city centers.
The easiest way to get it started is to get together a bunch of people that need rides along with a bunch of people that have cars. Set the ride fee and the rules! The students that own the vehicles can use the money that they earn from their “passengers” to buy for cheap the gas and other car stuff that they need to keep the program working.
Put a limit on gas money! Some college students will find it difficult to be without their “wheels” and will simply just have to have a car. If that is the case for your college student, encourage him or her to set a real gas budget. For parents that will be providing the cash for their college student’s gas, work with your college student to set a limit. You can regulate their use by giving them a gas card or other prepaid card that will keep them from doing too much extra riding around without regard for the cost of their travels.
Every frugal fashionista should make an effort to educate their college student about buying gas. Tell your college student to buy for cheap whenever they can so that they do not exceed their gas allotments. This may require a little research on their part. But, once they learn how to buy for cheap, your whole family will save and that will be worth all of the time and effort. Just think, learning how to manage their fuel budget is a lesson that can benefit from for years to com

Generating huge profits and becoming wealthy is absolutely essential!
This may sound like a bit of a naive statement…but let’s just consider why it’s so essential to become rich.
Well, it’s like this,
If you don’t have any money, if you’re struggling financially, then you are in no good position to help other people. You are seriously limited in your capacity to make a significant positive difference to the human race and the World at large.
Many so-called “Spiritual” people in the World are broke. It seems like there’s a massively broadcasted thought form out there, which proclaims that you can’t be spiritual and wealthy at the same time.
However, take a look at the mega-rich and their mindsets and attitudes…and you’ll soon see that this idea is completely illusory.
A huge amount of super wealthy people out there, are doing incredible things in the name of charity. They use their money and influence to set up foundations, to fund hospitals, to establish educational institutions.
The great spiritual teacher Grand Master Choa Kok Sui was a multi-millionaire businessman, prior to developing a World-renowned energy healing system, and a systematic program of Spiritual development - in doing so, he has helped hundreds of thousands of people throughout the World. Would he have achieved this, without first creating a sound financial base?
Look at Bill Gates. Currently the World’s richest man and also the founder and benefactor of the World’s biggest transparently operated, privately owned charitable foundation, literally helping millions of people…
Richard Branson, the infamous billionaire, has recently pledged $3billion to combat global warming by researching and developing alternative and sustainable fuels. This is something that Governments just aren’t doing fast enough for the survival of the planet. The point is, rich people can and do make the biggest positive difference…
So it’s clear to see, if you want to become seriously rich, you must set goals that benefit more people than just yourself. You must set goals that ultimately, will benefit your family, your community, a group of people, a geographical area, a country, an aspect of society or the whole World… Gandhi certainly didn’t achieve the liberation of India by focusing only on what he wanted for himself…
All of us in the modern world have the opportunity to become rich. We have the choice to try. No one said it would be a walk in the park, but knowing why it’s so important to become rich for the benefit of all, don’t you think it’s at least worth giving it a shot?
“Money is Power! Money is a tool to be used by you. Money allows you to manifest the will to do good” - Grand Master Choa Kok Sui

If you or your family members find them in the unfortunate circumstance of being in an accident, they will be very grateful for the coverage obtained through their Kentucky Auto Insurance policy. If there have been serious injuries sustained then the need for legal support may arise. It is important in such situations that individuals contact an insurance expert to be able to ensure that they receive the greatest possible recovery of the losses experienced.
The driver who is found to be at fault for the cause of the accident will be the one who has to be financially responsible for the expenses resulting. For the other individual that is involved they will need to show proof to their insurance provider that the other driver was at fault.
Individuals who have been injured and were not at fault should seek help from the auto insurance lawyer of Kentucky to make sure that their interests are best protected. Because the costs of injury and property damage can be very expensive it is important that these individuals take any necessary steps to protect themselves financially.
An accident can happen for a multiple number of reasons. Drivers at fault could be driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, speeding, having a vehicle malfunction, not being safe for current weather conditions, or even just not paying attention to the environment around them.
If an individual finds themselves injured in such an accident they should take steps for financial and legal recovery as soon as possible. A skilled auto insurance expert will be able to give guidance as to the best methods to follow to recover as much as possible for the losses incurred.
Vehicle accidents can be minor or major in respects to the injury and damage resulting from them. Long term medical treatment is typically required if the accident has been a major one, and this will create a dramatic increase in the expense associated with the accident.
For the driver whom is at fault for the accident, their insurance provider will be aiding them in taking care of the expenses that arise to other individuals and for themselves. Because of the great costs and financial risks involved, purchasing sufficient auto insurance coverage is very important.

Skiing is a sport that has become extremely popular throughout the world. Every year, millions of people take to the slopes for a fun and relaxing holiday. Many people who ski do not think about the costs they may incur if they were to have an accident. There are many things that can happen while skiing. For instance, you could suffer an injury, have your equipment stolen, or a storm may force you to cancel your vacation.
Companies are now offering ski insurance as part of a travel insurance policy. The following is a list of reasons why you should purchase ski CAA insurance before going on your next vacation:
Trip Disruption: If you are stuck for a few days due to a storm and cannot participate in ski activities, you will be covered for phone calls, lodging, and meals. Most CAA travel insurance will reimburse your costs if you are unable to ski for two or more days due to bad weather. They will cover the cost of lift passes, ski school fees, and any other expenses you incur.
Trip Cancellation: You never know when nature is going to intervene and force you to cancel your trip. When there is a snow or ice storm, usually roads, highways, and even airports are closed. If you have to cancel the entire trip due to a storm or other unexpected event such as an illness or death in the family, ski travel insurance will cover your cancellation costs.
Delayed Luggage: When traveling by plane many people have gone through the frustration of having their luggage delayed. Ski insurance will cover the costs of basic necessities and even the cost of renting gear while you wait for your own gear to arrive. You will not miss a minute on the slopes
Injury: Skiing is an exciting activity. When you are soaring down the slopes, you run the risk of being injured. If you are in another country, medical bills can be very expensive. Ski travel insurance will cover medicals incurred as the result of an injury. It will be one less problem you have to worry about if you suffer an injury. Ski insurance also protects against others. You never know when a collision with another skier may occur. Legal and court costs can be very expensive. Having personal liability insurance will cover you in the event someone sues and you have to go to court.
Equipment Loss: Ski equipment can be very expensive. Not being able to use your ski equipment can be very frustrating. This could be the result of misplacing your equipment, theft, and damage. Ski insurance will cover any loss or damage to your equipment. Before you buy your policy, make sure your provider explains the term ‘unattended goods. You may not be covered if you step away from your equipment for a moment, or if you leave equipment outside, and it is stolen.
Ski Rescue: Every year it is common to hear about skiers who were lost on the slopes and needed to be rescued. This could be the result of a storm, damaged equipment, or skiing away from the slope. Rescue efforts can be very expensive, especially if a helicopter is needed. Ski insurance will cover you if you have to be rescued.
When choosing the appropriate ski insurance, you should not make a decision based on price only. You should make sure you obtain a comprehensive policy that will meet all of your needs. Read the policy to understand what you are covered for because if you make a claim and you are not able to be reimbursed, then you have wasted your money. You should also shop around for the best coverage and the best price. It is important to note that if you are in an accident where alcohol and drugs are involved, you will not be covered if you are the one under the influence.
Skiing is an activity that millions of people look forward to each season. Having the appropriate insurance will allow you to have a stress free and fun vacation.

Kentucky Auto Insurance premiums are influenced by a number of different factors. When you are requesting insurance coverage the provider will ask you a number of questions that may or may not pertain to the calculation of your premium.
The insurance provider that you choose will give you a discount for combining a number of policies with them. If you own more than one car, and need home and life insurance coverage, using the same provider will allow you to receive a multiple policy discount.
The area in which you live will have an influence on the rate that you will be charged for your coverage. Living in a safe lower populated area will provide you with a lower premium than if you live in an urban neighborhood with a high frequency of crime.
The deductible on your policy is the amount that you will be responsible for before the insurance provider will step in. The higher that you feel you can set this deductible the lower liability the insurance provider will have. This will allow them to provide you with a lower premium.
Expensive and fast vehicles cost more to insure than cheap and slow ones. Keep this in mind if the vehicle to be insured is still being purchased. Do not add to an expensive car note the extra burden of having to carry expensive auto insurance coverage.
Insurance providers will use the number of miles that the vehicle will be driven annually to help calculate the rate of coverage. Restricting the number of miles driven will help to lower the cost of insuring the vehicle.
Providers will consider where the vehicle is going to be parked overnight, especially if the area in which the driver lives has a high crime rate. Lower premiums could be offered to you if you park in a locked garage.

All residential drivers must have Kentucky Auto Insurance coverage to legally drive in the state. Law will mandate the minimal amount of coverage that each driver needs to carry to avoid legal responsibilities.
One of the best ways to find cheap premiums for your auto insurance policy is to shop around with a number of insurance providers. With the competition in the insurance market there is a large range in the prices that you will receive when doing so. Care needs to be taken to understand that the cheapest priced policy might not be an adequate one.
If a quote is found that is dramatically below others then drivers should be weary that it may not provide the adequate amount of coverage needed. The insurance provider should be evaluated to ensure that it will be an appropriate policy for the driver to purchase.
To make certain that the cheapest quote is really an acceptable policy there are a few things that drivers can do. First would be to double check that the insurance requirements of the state are included on the policy. Also ensure that if an expensive vehicle is to be insured that there is adequate coverage to protect that asset.
Insurance agents and providers have to be licensed to sell in states that they desire to do business in. Contact the Kentucky Board of Insurance to make certain that the provider being considered is licensed to do so in the state of Kentucky.
Talking with the provider’s current customers will provide you with a good picture of how good of service that the company gives. You could check with friends and coworkers to see if any use this provider for their insurance coverage and see if it offers the level of service which you are looking for.
Ensuring that the cheapest policy with adequate coverage is purchased can be aided by comparing insurance quotes on the internet. An insurance comparison website is a great resource to use when trying to find an appropriate policy.

State law requires a specific amount of Kentucky Auto Insurance coverage. While this is the minimal amount, many drivers want the extra protection provided by purchasing a higher level of coverage. Before purchasing their policy, drivers should consider a number of factors.
Installing car alarms or anti-theft devices to the vehicle being insured could result in receiving a lower premium for coverage. Keep in mind though that just as the technology for alarms increases so does the thieves’ skill in bypassing their security measures.
The premium of the policy will partly depend on the driver’s history for filing claims. If they have submitted a number of claims that are just over their deductible limit the insurance provider will see them as a higher financial risk and raise their premium.
Taking extra driving courses is beneficial for the driver and their premium rates. After completing courses such as defensive or advanced driver courses, supplying the certificate of completion to the insurance provider could qualify them for a discount.
The gender of the driver is relevant. Statistically women are less likely to be in an accident. It is also seen that the accidents women do experience are less severe and are therefore offered lower premium rates.
Claims are filed less by older drivers. This will result in providers charging lower premiums for mature drivers.
Drivers can save money on their insurance policy by purchasing their coverage on the internet. 10-15% savings are frequently offered by insurance providers to customers that do so.
